Seasonal Flow

Welcoming a New Year is always a cause for wonderment. I speak only for myself. This year more than ever, I am holding onto to my eternal optimism with a tight grasp. Eternal hopeful that things will be brighter at some point. It is for this reason I love sunflowers. They follow the sun and seek the light. Spiritually, I guess I am always seeking the light and trying to remain bright. In my garden last year it was full of those beautiful flowers.

Already, I am working on a new writing project. I have been short listed in a national short story competition and I have a new art project. The creative flow is in the ascendance.

Crisp ice laden mornings have greeted me for much of the last few days and although the temperature is in the minus it seems at last the season has a flow. Even though the tulips have decided to peek out. Again my garden has been filled with birds all going about their daily routines blissfully unaware of the fragmented world they occupy.

I have read a few blogs lately commenting on the difficulty and the committment to writing a blog. I would agree. Just as in creating new characters and stories so to must you create words that flow across the page and capture the interest of those who stop by to read.

With the world in turmoil and uncertainty running rife there is a comfort in my being able to open the laptop and create something. In regaining the confidence in my words and finding the flow for a new year.

May your world open vistas which are more hopeful.

Stay safe out there.

Thank you for dropping by.

Bissiebee.
